Your warm and friendly disposition and outstanding customer service skills will be the first impression that our restaurant guests will encounter as they arrive at our upscale dining establishment, the Ruddy Duck.  You will also support the restaurant servers as needed throughout your shift.

Job Overview

The purpose of this position is to assist restaurant server's by ensuring plates are visually pleasing and all plates for an order are ready for delivery to guest tables. 

General Responsibilities

• Arrange plates from cook line to server station to expedite for guests.
• Ensure plates coming off cook line are presented properly per menu matrix.
• Occasionally deliver plates to tables at server's request.
• Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills.
• Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and restaurant front of house as requested.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested by Manager or Leads at any time.

Job Qualifications

• Experience:
• Previous guest service and/or kitchen experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.
• Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

Working Conditions

• Generally in an indoor setting
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to heat/cold from the mechanical equipment
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
