Use your excellent cutomer service skills to make a lasting impression with our valued guests by setting tables; placing and replacing silverware; keeping beverage glasses full; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; clearing and cleaning tables and chairs in our fabulous Ruddy Duck Restaurant.

                                                                                                   Restaurant Busser

General Responsibilities:

• Know timing and preparations of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain good service times.
• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly and consistently reset all serviceware as prescribed.
• Fold napkins.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
• Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

• Six months previous bussing experience preferred.
• Possession of government required licenses or certificates.
• Ability to:
  • Work with minimum supervision
  • Stand and/or walk for entire shift
  • Carry and balance plates, trays, etc.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Work as part of a team
  • Communicate effectively
  • Read and follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Work well under pressure
