Marketing Coordinator
General Responsibilities:
- Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials.
- Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
- Supervise social media outreach.
- Deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail.
- Coordinate and deliver email campaigns.
- Mass-mail materials.
- Create brochures and sell sheets.
- Provide support to marketing department.
- Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
- Work with manager and business units to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
- Promote products and services through public relations initiatives.
- Execute marketing communications campaigns.
- Research media coverage and industry trends.
- Improve communication efficiencies within company.
- Manage video content.
- Coordinate and execute tactical marketing initiatives i.e. online advertising, website maintenance.
- Online landing pages for group reservations.
- Make minor updates to the website to include menus and general information.
- Participate in meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Degree in marketing or two years of equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Typing skills with at least 50 WPM.
- Competent in Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems.
- Ability and willingness to work cooperatively and with others.
- Ability to work in fast paced office environment.
- SEO, SEM and social media savvy.
- Manage several projects simultaneously.
