Human Resources Assistant
Become a key member of the Human Resources team at our beautiful, world-class resort. You will report directly the Human Resources Manager and be responsible for assisting and supporting a multitude of various tasks within the HR realm.
Human Resources Assistant
Job Overview:
Responsible for assisting with human resource activities for the property.
General Responsibilities:
Human Resource
- Assist with day to day operations of the HR department.
- Compile and update employee records.
- Complete new-hire paperwork with employees.
- Process Social Security verifications.
- Maintain and audit I-9 binder to insure all information is current and accurate.
- Process benefit enrollments and terminations.
- Reconcile monthly benefit statements.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One year of Human Resource experience preferred.
- Outgoing personality and comfortable in public settings.
- Knowledge of general accounting skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to:
- Work as part of a team.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively.
- Receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work well under pressure.
- Work with minimal supervision.
