Full Job Description

This highly self-motivated, professional individual will be responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager by performing various bookkeeping duties as well as working front desk in the hotel lobby and dealing with all guest interaction.

Essential Functions:

• Meet and greet individuals entering the lobby.
• Handle incoming calls for reservations and guest questions.
• Complete guest check-in paperwork and explain hotel policies.
• Must be able to enforce hotel policies and handle guest confrontation in a calm manner.
• Order office and hotel housekeeping supplies.
• Assign and track all parking passes.
• Prepare maintenance work orders.
• Maintain guest payments and agreement dates on Excel spreadsheets.
• Reconcile bank deposits.
• High level of skill in internet search for products and price evaluation.
• Understand hotel services, and other information about the hotel.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Must be a reliable employee
• Capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks.
• Handle guest disputes in a professional manner.
• High level of skill in working with various computer software including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and hotel guests.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality with company and personnel information.
• Integrity and honesty due to handling of company cash.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
